Ubuntu 11.04: finding the "Connect to server" option
Open the file browser, and when it's opened, go to the top where it says "home folder" and go to file -> Connect to server
I must be losing my mind. I have been using the "Connec to server" for years and iin 11.04 it is nowhere to be found. I have tried opening Nautilus, going to the home folder, etc., and it is not there on my version. Yes, I know there are other ways to do it but it was formerly so simple. What am I doing wrong?
Yeah, I know, In 11.04 that changed a lot. But, I have a question: When you click the home folder icon, then you roll the mouse over the top bar. Does it appear the options: file, edit, view, etc?
No, it doesn't. Firefox, Opera and some other programs do that but the home folder does not. Oops, it just did it but only for a second. Maybe I have too many things open. Let me close some stuff and see if I can get it to appear for more than a microsecond. Thanks!
Hey, you know what? That worked. I typically have three browsers, GIMP, a text editor or two and assorted other programs open and that seems to "confuse" the display at the top. When I closed some of them, I can get the Home folder Files, etc. to appear.

Thanks again.
